New Jersey investor snaps up southern Dallas warehouse property - The Dallas Morning News

A New Jersey investor has snapped up a big industrial building in southern Dallas.

The LogistiCenter at Dallas distribution building is located on Bonnie View Road near Interstate 20.

The 626,000-square-foot warehouse was constructed in 2017 by Nevada-based developer Dermody Properties.

The building was the first phase of a more than 61-acre business park planned for more than 1 million square feet.

Alliance Architects designed the project and MYCON General Contractors built it.

Dermody sold the warehouse and adjoining land to SCM South Dallas LLC of Camden, N.J.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

North Texas’ is one of the country’s top industrial real estate markets, with more than 20 million square feet of warehouse space under construction.

Several large properties have changed hands in the last few months with investors hoping to take advantage in the boom in warehouse caused by e commerce and the growing consumer products market in Dallas-Fort Worth.
